I try and keep the server updated and administrated as often as possible. I've had it crash on me a few times so far for various reasons, but I try and get it back up as soon as I can. It's an 8 player server run on a 2.4 ghz P4, with an 81 minute map rotation. There is one twenty minute build round, followed by three fifteen minute fight rounds and two ten minute build rounds. The mapcycle as of today, April 10th is as follows:
sf_fieldtrip
sf_overload
sf_testmap
sf_drainage
sf_iceland
sf_basin
Nobody|, Kanati, and Purple Smurf are admins on the server. The server will be running through at least the first two weeks of May, until school ends. Come play and enjoy yourselves. :) Be aware, though, that during the afternoon peak hours the server can become laggy due to network saturation. If you have problems, suggestions, or questions, send an email to headcrabshack _at_ hotmail.com You can also PM us in irc.gamesurge.net at Headcrabshack|. We're usually in #sourceforts.
Thanks!

This server usually has at least one admin on, just because he has no life at the moment and is jobless...

Hi, I play on your server whenever I play this mod (I've been there when you've stopped by). The only problem I've had so far was a few asshats destroying my projects when I wouldn't switch teams. I took screenies just in case but I don't think it really matters. Anyhow, thanks for the awesome server

Hey Tinker, thanks! Whenever you run into problems on the server, type "status" in the console and record the Steam IDs of the troublemakers. You can email us or message us on IRC with the IDs and names of the asshats and we'll rectify the situation with the banstick.
Thanks fearian for the good words!

Does it say that you are being kicked for using a reserve slot? If so, I'm trying to fix that problem right now.

sv_visiblemaxplayers, something the new steam update added ;) Make it maxplayers minus slots and nobody will try to connect to the reserved slots, but admins can still force connect and come in.

I also get randomly kicked when first joining the server, I usually just keep trying and get in after 4 or 5 trys. Also is damage turned on, we couldn't get any panels to fall last night.

I think I've fixed the kicking problem for now. Let me know if you experience it any more.
By the way, you'll notice that mp_damageable_pieces is 0, so you're just wasting your time if you're trying to destroy the blocks. I believe the MOTD says so.

I know it is your server and you can do as you please, but why have damage turned off? Getting the flag is hard enough with damage on, turning it off makes it almost impossible. It makes the game nothing more then a team deathmatch.

I don't think it turns into simply team deathmatch. I've yet to play a round where I, myself, have not captured the enemy flag. Playing with the cvar on or off each present problems of their own for fortbuilders. Right now, we've reached an internal decision not to run with the feature on. That may change at a later date, but it might not. The server has a rule that each base and flag must have useable entrances and exits, to defeat people who simply seal them off. Also, you can still offensively build and use the subharmonic destabiliser during the fight rounds to breach the enemy's base. Destabilising one side of the base while building a ramp into the opposite side is quite effective at distracting the other team enough to be able to steal the flag.
