I am a relatively experienced sniper/soldier, but I have never really been pushed to create a good fort. I can straight wall (vert + horiz!!!!!!!) and make low block, efficient sniper turrets, but would like to join a clan to improve overall capability.

I query (being in SoS) him and he tells me I can do it too. I told him a limit is there for a reason. He doesn't seem to understand. Blue finishes their base early (my team), and with 20 seconds left, Mastor adds 2 minutes, so he can uses his extra special blocks to improve his base even more. We get in to combat. During combat, (I arrived in 2nd build) I was told that blue complained that Mastor was adding blocks in the first build too. He decided to give them 30 panels to make up for it. With 10 seconds left. Outside of the blue wall. Convenient for red builders. He has no shame.

Anyways my policy: I think cheating is giving yourself an unfair advantage. In the SOS server I give my self blocks, add time if necessary and give my self noclip. Time is added for both teams to use and if the other team needs blocks I shall add to the blocklimit or give a pile of blocks (like I did for gamelins team), I do not give noclip in case the player noclips across the build wall and grief the other teams base.

I was giving my self blocks and the other team was moaning, so I gave them blocks but they started moaning because I was adding time, so i did not add anymore from that point. I was trying to please you and it turned out worse for you :(

Anyways what is your problem with adding time or blocklimit it was public and the newbies on my team couldn't make a complete fort with the 35 blocks.

By YOUR logic, you are cheating. I was in the game that gamelin is talking about, infact I am the one who gave him the information about the first rounds that he missed. So, here we go.

Please tell me.. When I got into the game, my team were just finishing their fort. It got to about 100 seconds, we were done. I started running around and doing some random crap. I looked back at the clock, thinking we should have started by now and saw the time back in the 400s. In what way does that benefit both teams?

You finally give US some extra blocks in the last 10/20 seconds. Nowhere near enough time to put them to any use, but what's more they are directly outside our main wall. The stack may have been high enough to jump off the low wall onto and then over our main wall, but even if it wasn't it provided a nice stack of crap for you to make ramps out of in the fight. I had no choice but to launch them all off the edge. In what way was that just as fair for my team, as it was for yours?

As for the noclip.. That provides you an unfair advantage. You are faster, you dont have to climb overwalls to get in/out of your base etc. It makes everything much faster and easier for you (yet somehow you 5 minutes longer than the rest of us). In what way is that fair on my team, that one of their team can work twice as fast as us?

Basically, it was not fair. What WOULD have been fair, was for you to increase the block limit and increase build times.

ive got to say i was playing on the SoS server yesterday

and it was me, mastor, shadow, gamelin came on at abandon and some other SoS dude (forgot your name soz)

and for when the build time increased for us, we asked him to as its was us 4/5 vs 8/9 ;P, and so did the other team

he increased the block limit to after the other team asked him to.

He was using noclip yes, but only when he was stuck and b4 u ask i saw it yesterday as well on the digis server one of the "admins" going into noclip n out again

plus it was a public and the other team were alot less "skilled" then we were, so it also helped them with more time, as it gave them time to make themselves a base the way they wanted it

[edit] On public servers noclip is used to review the actions of players that people are complaining about. Really, noclip is a detriment when trying to build most of the time, blocks fly away from you when you're in noclip and you pick them up.

I use noclip in pubs to do stuff like get back into a wall with a really long crawl. However, I always ask if it's annoying someone because while most people don't mind, there are some who object to the < 5 second advantage I get over suiciding, then I'll just go back to suiciding. I never use noclip to build things I couldn't without it. That is definitely giving yourself an unfair advantage.

@SOS guys i kinda like you guys and your server cause griefers get kicked very fast cause theres always so of you guys there to kick such people and that you at least can have a bit of civilized and organized teamplay! But on the other hand i hate the noclipping and the entitiy piece spawning
and you guys build far too much to make your forts look good not to reach the maximum level of efficency but then again i like you guys --> a devils circle ^^

Also saying for skilled your are will get people "challenging you to a duel" . And because alot of these guys are infact NOT noobs (just like me, i like to be modest :) ) they will probably own you. Yet another point is though your score seems quite good, to be a true sniper u need to be able to hit running targets, very hard, but snipers that can do it are hell to play againts, and i have yet to seen u play so apart from this epoints i cant bitch towards u much (yet!!)
