So what? Some SF logo-ed blocks in GMod? Could make for some interesting (staged) screenshots. Better this than going to Ideas and whining about wanting the GMod rotator gun.

I don't think so... The model base for garrys mod is open sourced... hence anyone can dump any model they want into it.

But if the SF logo is copyrighted (presumably to this mod only), tis not nice to steal it and put it in another mod without permission.

ya, and it's not nice to DL MP3s without bying the CD either. The thing is, this isn't the garrys mod team that is doing this, and garrys modder can dump whatever source model they want into the game, as long as they are given access to it. You gave them free nonprofit access to the garrys mod blocks, so they have open access to dumping them into garrys mod should they so chose.

Regardless of any copyright we may have put on SourceForts (not just the logo) - and the legal status of modifications is always a bit uncertain, I will be contacting the artist who made the models and the person who made this mini-mod.

Personally I don't like the idea of having fake SF forts out there.

Well, it's not my content - D3fault made the models, but yes, I object to it. Mostly on the principle that it's been used without permission, when permission was easy to request, and would probably have been granted.
