Default It's not rocket science...why?
It seems to me that this game would be able to grow a ton before 2.0 is ever released. I understand that you want to release it complete and stable and i'm fine with that...but why not release just a small release (maybe server side only 1.4.3) that fixes the server crash bug? I'm sure you have figured out what causes that already.

So why not just release that and let some dedicated servers stay up and have the community grow?

I doubt many would disagree with that idea and it seems like it should have been done a long time ago.

v2.0 would, originally, have been a quick job. However, after beta-testing we decided to do something longer-term. We're currently evaluating the option of an intermediate release.

Yeah, a quickie 1.4.3 update would be great. V2.0 is clearly going to take a while, but there's no sense in letting your community fade away over a few bugs.
