Default PureFrag's SourceFort - NEW Dedicated Servers

I like SourceForts a lot. So I started a couple of servers up on it. One of the few when the latest update came out. I want to get more servers up, but for now 2 will have to suffice. When an update comes to stop memory errors and a more optimized code (less lag), I'll probably launch about 4 servers up. Till then you can play on one of two.

-Both are 16 players
*Server Specs:
3.2 Ghz Processor
2 Ghz Ram
T3 Datacenter Connection
Windows2003

Ips:

*The servers get memory errors a lot, so I have to go in and manually start them up again, so if you don't see em, I'll put them back. CANT WAIT until the update comes.

You should also encounter a "Player: backward mins/maxs" error, too. They sound like good servers, but I think 16 players is too many.

See if it works for you, but be prepared to lower that player limit drasticly. Biggest I've ever played on was half that.

suprisingly, the people in it have 40 pings and 70 pings. it's running great for them. 8v8 is a real battle. It's fun, I only wish a 12v12 was possible, that'd be cool. Domo is the server's favorite map too. The only crashes it's had is Memory Errors.

jawohl, 16 person battle is the bomb.
the thing is almost ALL the maps are built for 4v4.

I LOVE your servers. I was playing in the #1 today with a clanmate (invert, in case you guys were there), and things were a mess when we got in onto sf_domo. The bases were crap, and our team had the flag frozen at the top of the skybox. The custom pieces that sf_domo has (spike trap, cannon, etc.) were all frozen in place and couldn't be moved, but it seemed that they must have been moved sometime because they weren't in the spots where they spawn on the map.

After my first fight round, we tore the base down and started over, making a clean, nice one, with the flag on the spike trap and a fair, non-tunnel entrance through the hurt gate which wasn't turned on. There was a half-bunker on top of the big tower, which helped out the players battling in the midfield somewhat.. and wow, "battle" is an understatement.

The fights in the midfield were NUTS. There'd usually be 3 or so players from each team in the midfield at any given time, with differing weapons, and no obvious team dominance. The rebels would charge, kill the combine, only to be pushed back when the combine would charge over the walls throwing nades. My teammate Invert dropped something like 130 kills over two fight rounds with just a magnum. I only got 64, but I spent one of the fightrounds almost entirely destabilizing walls and rebuilding our base, which was really really difficult.

Here's my endgame SS when the server froze. Invert had left a few minutes prior, so that's why he's not on here.



Truely epic. Don't take these down. Just try to give some bigger maps more playtime than sf_domo.
