Anyone going to QuakeCon this year? i'll be going with a few friends and we're hoping to run into some fellow SFers. I've posted on the Quakecon forum promoting SF to all those HL2 players out there who havent heard of it (How dare they, right?) and have sparked some interest. unfortunately theres now a waiting list for the BYOC event but theres still some hope for those of you who havent registered. hopefully we can get a big enough group for a small tourney or at least a few good 4v4 or more battles. those are the best, esp. on LAN where you're free from those uber n00bs who just freeze everything to piss you off.

its in Grapevine TX (around Dallas) on Aug 11-14th. sadly registration is already full but you can still get on the waiting list for BYOC if you want. to attend its free, but you have to provide lodging\food\etc.

Id go - Im in Texas - But parents wont let me.
