What do you guys think? Should I keep the site up? Do any of you even view the site?

I just ask because it takes up time to keep it up to date, and if no one uses it, it's not really worth having up

Don't get me wrong, I love providing the site for map downloads, especially when the main website is down I'm glad that people still have a way to download maps for this awesome game.

I just want to know if it's convenient for you (the user). If it is, and you guys want to have the extra source for SF maps, I will gladly keep it up and update it every time a new map is released.

I dont use it, i just use the map section on this forum.

maybe there could be an official sourceforts map database like

www.sourcefortsmod.com/database/ or /maps/
It would be a list of maps, that anyone could upload and add maps.
like there would be a map, a small description, and a thumbnail of a screenshot. and if you clicked on the map name you would get a more in-depth description with some facts (reccomnedd player size, spawners yes/no, stuff like that) and people could add comments. but it would not be a phpbb forum.

seascape.uk.net has, in the past, and will, in the future, provide a map database. However, work on it is currently on hold while I get SourceForts v2 up to scratch .

Maybe you could ask if it can be made into a sticky in the map showcase forum. After all, it pretty much fulfills what that forum is for.

Well, if you guys want to do that (JLF, dred_furst) I'm perfectly ok with keeping the site up to date.
