Gave the server commands at the end to test it yourself.

I've always heard to aim "slightly" in front of the guy you are shooting at, but that is just stupid. No wonder people complain they can't hit anything, look at those scenes where he aims right at the guy, shoots, and nothing happens, then aims far infront of him and bets a blood spatter.

Can Valve fix huge bugs like that instead of screwing with the thing that makes SF work and not telling anyone about it, please?

Of course we are all assuming that he hasn't massively abused his rates, interpolation, and extrapolation, which I suspect is not that case. With evil enough manipulation of the client side variables you can to alot of stupid things that would make people really hard to hit for you. Keep your rates high, your FPS high, and your interp and exterp as low as you can push them and the model should be dead on the hitbox.

I played CS:S for about a week, got myself into a reasonable clan and all that... but I just got so hacked off, you can't duck behind cover and jump behind walls, people still get you... I'd see my body fall down from a position where it was impossible for me to have been hit. It sucked so bad I haven't played it since.

generally that has to do with the CS view hight being at shoulder level, meaning the top of your helmet is visable when you can't even see over your bunker, let alone shoot over it.
