I'm sorry it's taking so long, I'll admit that I've been a bit lazy past couple of weeks, but I'd tentatively say that that's lazy compared to my normal work ethic, not compared to the rest of the world. Ultimately, we can't release until it's reliable, and there's no telling how long that could take.

well a good realease is better than an early release, thats for sure.

Yeah but still, they announced v2 for the 1st may and now we are the 23 may and it's not out. And if the 1st may was a rumor, I sended a pm to jlf to ask him the release date and he said it was 1st may.
Strange...

bah i want v2 to come out!! but as long as they make it stable i will be happy to wait a few more months...

May 1st was the release date. After beta-testing, we decided to do a whole lot more work and delay the release.

I rather play an unstable V2 then an unstabe 1.42...

As it stands, V2 is too unstable to play for more then 5 minutes.
