I finished loading HL2 again last night ... damn near 2GB of info ... that is a lot to download over the crap steam networks.

I downloaded the the mod and extracted it to the appropriate folder.

It played just fine... no problems there. Very little lag... However everyone was frozen in a sort of "jesus hanging on the cross" look. Noone ran ... they just sort of scooted around... southpark style.

Is there something that I missed?

Or is the game supposed to look like this?

Sounds like the animations aren't playing - it happens in garrysmod. Maybe try reinstalling it?

I don't know what the resolution is to this, but I do know that is it not client side, so don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong.

That happend to me on the first server I played on, but never since.

It's a problem on their side, not yours.
