Looks like you don't have very important files so server can't stay stable.

You could reinstall your HL2 game and try then again 'cause some textures didn't show up right on me so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now I have much less those textures what don't exist.

Have you also tried shutting down your firewall?

Hmmm, try reinstalling HL2 (I hope you got the disc , you'll be sitting there for ages) Then set up a HL2M server first, then try. Also, are you using a router? Did you check that steam was 'up', because the steam server might have been down.

It is up but it just does not show up in the server list im using adsl modem my firewall allows the program to run but it just does not work i have used the tutorial on here but it wont work still

Try shutting the firewall down completely for a short while and test then. If it works then you know its your firewall, if it wont you are sure it is not.
Put it fast back on though, without a firewall you really arnt safe these days.
