Default The mod still works

the update did not kill the mod. you can still start a game as long as you choose a regular dm map not a sf one. i just tested and it works. does this mean we have to do something to the maps not the mod itself. i could be wrong but at least i know now that you can start a working server as long a you choose a dm map. yes the dm map server shows up on the find a server screen. hope this helps.

edit: i used the map command not the create a server screen if that matters. the map command still does not allow sf maps

edit 2: i am going to play arroud with testmap some and see if i can get it to work now. wonder why dm maps work while sf one do not.

I made an sf map with no entities in it apart from info_combine_spawn and info_rebel_spawn that worked, although it was very pointless

yeah lets all do some testing and find out what the problem is, im betting on the logic_gametimer or the flags

edit: it might be the func_forsite also

I tried removing the logic_gametimer from my map and it still wouldn't let me host a server... maybe it could be something else

i just ran the map that i posted, sf_warehouse, with only the logic_gametimer removed and nothing added and it worked. too bad the swichmode command does not work when there is no gametimer because i could just manualy be the game clock.

edit: only removing that worked for me, i wonder why it did not for you. i hope that only this is causing the problems, not multiple things in the map. it will harder to fix then

*coding noob*

What does logic_gametimer do? Switch between build and fight?

*another coding noob*

Well, reading his post, I asume it is as he said 'no commands to switch between gamemode'

Also the name slightly gives iit away
