Default Scramble Gametype

Basically this gametype is just a gametype that is for fun and in pubs. Basically the maps for this gametype would be open spaces, so that people couldn't a map with a lot of open space and no places that people could really turtle into. Each team would have 1/4 of the map.

Basically there are 4 teams of 6 (for the max players). And one flag. Whoever has the flag for the longest time during the round (default 15 minutes?) wins. This brings use to things such as bunkers and possibly small sniper towers that would help kill enemies as a builder tried to put up some kind of defenses. The block health in this gametype would be extremely low, so ridiculously good teams couldn't just keep the flag forever.

If you really wanted to get rid of camping in this gamemode, then simply make it so that whenever a team has the flag, the other 3 teams are now enemies only against that team and are allies with each other. But of course it changes whenever another team gets the flag. With maps with big open areas and having 3 teams going after your small base and your flag. I can guarantee you if the teams are somewhat balanced then no team will be holding the flag for the entire game.

You had neoforts, and now you have fucked up even the concept of Neoforts.

So when you are on one team assualting another teams wall, you are blasting the hell out of each other...

Then another team just captures the flag of some other gay team and you can't even kill each other anymore... wow thats gay!!
Now I have two choices:

1. Run all the way back, giving the team time to repair their wall, precious time, ammo and work WASTED on destroying their wall ffs.

2. they can't kill me!! I just run all the way to their flag D, wait next to it and hope the flag drops just I can score a touch!

And balanced?? You have 4 teams!! That can't be balanced, if one team walls get breached, all the scouts and rocketeers will be pouring in, spawn killing them and trying to get a touch.

This idea suck azlan, stop giving us shitty idea's. And stop trying to improve them.

Problem with multiple teams: Teams are given choices which would not normally exist in head to head. For example "Shall we be fags, and team up Yellow,Blue and Red vs Green?" "YEAH DO IT FOR THE LULZ!" That and as soon as a team wall is ripped down why would any other team bother going for the undamaged fort?, unless there was some kind of intricate system like:

Red can only steal Blue's flag.
Blue can only steal Yellow's flag.
Yellow can only steal Green's flag.
Green can only steal Red's flag.

It'd be highly confusing. That would be pretty much one of the only ways to make sure it's balanced. Then in a sense it's not really multiple teams, it'd feel more like go after the designated team, with twice as more people than usual Red vs Blue.

Any way, this idea sounds a lot like Halo's oddball. Just with only four teams, instead of having over fifteen mass murderers after you.
