Default Backwards Bunkers

Maybe it's just me, but some of these bunkers would be more effective if built backwards(i.e. shoot from the other side). You'd have a better field of view, wouldn't have to crouch to get further in the V, and it comes premade with a grenade deflector.

You should have provided mappers with an updated FGD.
Actual help running proper servers would've been nice since we fronted the money.
Need help mapping? GL.

Let's say the player is the "o" and the bunker is "<"..

You're saying it'd be more effective to set up like this?
o<

The problem with that is you're very vulnerable from the sides, and it'd be pretty easy to bounce a grenade off the bottom panel and have it roll right up into your face. The top panel wouldn't be a viable nade shield, since it's not heigh enough or angled the right way.

That isn't all you'd have... thefirst thread there shows sides... and usually there are walls extending farther, or your bunker is in the air.

Grenades don't roll like bowling balls, youd still have to try pretty hard to get one to bounce through.

You can angle the top panel what ever way you want... I'd suggest about bertical.

I just don't see the use in making them backwards, which has risks, over just making it the other way.

Screw it up building it backwards and it doesn't work at all. Also, with backwards bunkers you can't shift forward or back to get a different line of sight. I stand by my slant down bunker in that one thread.
