Default A bulky and effective Field Trip fort

I built this with Brwagner, I did the walls, the entrance, and the grammar-error-ridden Spanish sentence in the screenshots.

This is my favorite step-up to shoot system, it has a wide coverage and is easy to make.

Here you see the front right of the fort. I stacked the walls and Brwagner built the tower. Our entrance is on the...

...front left side. I have found a better entrance that I put to use. You can also get another look at Brwagner's tower here.

In addition: Now, i usually cover the health and armor chargers.
This really isn't a huge spectacle, but is a good example for noobs.

Ok, well it isn't a terrible fort. Its not like a bunch of blocks thrown together. It looks like it took a little bit of skill to make all of the pieces flat and to make the sky fort thingy.

I'm not a pro at making forts by any means. My topic is 2 below yours and I got a ton of critism on my first fort design, so take the critisimn and build better forts. Here are my suggestions:

1.) I personally don't like sky towers. 2 Guys sitting by the recharging station underneath can take out one of those pieces that lets you climb up there in about a minute. If you are going to use it. Put a lot, lot lot more padding and cover on the entrance. If I ever build something sticking out over a leadge. Its a completly enclosed tunnel roof and all with a lot of padding on the bottom.

2.) Stronger Outer Wall. About 1 minute of nade spamming from either side of the opposing fort can make a huge hole in the wall. I would try and think of creative ideas on how to interlock the pieces so if one of them gets unfrozen it doesnt fall out. If you cant get that to work. I would put as many peices as possible on the wall. Like, instead of putting those pieces vertical, make them horizontal and use the pieces you saved from doing that and double up the wall.

3.) The entrance is ok, except its weak as well. Nades directed in that location or just shooting it for a while will bring it down. I always put more
padding on the entrance because it seems people like to shoot at it more.
Also, a general rule is faster out than in. If you steal the enemies flag and have to go through those tunnels it is just more time you are vulnerable.

4.) More offense. Each person has their own way of offence. I create nade towers on the corners where I can just spam the other base with nades. Other people make intermediate forts in the middle of the field to work their way towards the base. It depends on how you play. Just remember anything left out on the field can be used against you as well.

Just maybe some more cover for your spawn and from the hill on the left from where the people can shoot over the wall at you. So, just keep making forts and changing it everytime keeping whats good and tweaking what didn't work so well.
