i dont like the wall bunker design, large small and rasied because your "field of vision" is smaller than if the platform that you stand on is angled to the slit....like the sniper bunker. in the sniper bunker you can move back and see higher and shoot the "farkers" that are 'nading you. also its much harder for you to be shot, or even to be seen because of the smaller slit between the panels. plus you dont have to hold down the crouch button. however i suppose its handy to have the wall bunker design to shoot the guy whos snipering your team and quickly run away.

No, that will happen anyways if nades get in without the nade gaurd.
Biggest problem with most of these bunkers is the slope up shooting position. I've used alot of those bunkers before and the worst thing about them is that you get shot once and knockback sends you so far out of shooting position that you have to take a whole 15 seconds repositioning yourself before you can shoot again. A level shooting position works good because repositioning yourself is extreamly fast, but you get less control over the angle you shoot from, and if you don't build the bunker right the whole thing will be just useless, meaning you need to take your time in build time to make sure the LoS is where you want it.
I prefer slope down shooting platforms like the one in my screenie (I included a nade shield with it, but you can't see in that particular screenie). If you get shot througth the slot your position isn't knocked out at all. It really isn't difficult to build, and you can get a good veiw of several height angles on the enemy base. Biggest downside is the extra piece it costs as a ramp up.
