Default My clan's 50 block skywalk fort

This is the 50 block skywalk fort my team made in practice. It is a good example of a competitive fort imo. some key points:
- no 'entrance' is too long (disincentive to break walls)
- to cap the flag you must run right by spawn
- covered ammo/health area
- layers of walls to fall back on
- quick access outwards, slower going in
- many raised areas for rockeering :P

this place is a slaughtering ground for rockeer

I tried to make the same kind of fort in a public server and all the other team left

im sure the block limit on skywalk will be brought down if ever played in the league but the same concept can be used. also, we're still recruiting

Not really anything major but it just really bugs me that you used 5 pieces to block off one of the flag ramps, the most you will ever need for that is 2 (Unless you worry about it getting unfrozen) also, there is nothing to stop people jumping over the crawl space to your spawn room.

yes i know thats overkill for that ramp. just messing around with a 3 layer block for it. the other side is blocked with 2 peices.

in a competitive ctf environment i'd hope people's first priority would be to capture the flag, not camp spawn room. not too worried about that.

Also, camping the spawn is an excellent way to provide a get-away diversion for your scout after he gets the flag.

thats true but i still just don't concider it that much of a problem. besides with this setup it would be a bit difficult to block the spawn seeing as they have access to the roof. not worth the peices imo.
