Commentary:
Buy your pieces with credit blocks.
Note that the pieces are frozen in the back of the vault to reduce lag/bouncy glitch occurances.
A credit block spawns in the center of the map every fight round, take this block to your port just outside the vault gate to store it inside. Once a credit block is inside the vault, it can not be removed in that form.
Don't like a piece you have? Recycle it by throwing it into the colored section of the vault.

To buy a piece, just place the credit block into the pieces corresponding port. Once it is placed, LOOK UP AND CATCH THE PIECE! Otherwise, you will suffer from major head trauma. Two hits on the head may result in death. :lol:

Do you mean every build round? If not, that might make more sense.

Also, any link to DL it at or is this unfinished?

The block spawns at the beginning of every fight round in the dead center of the map. Basically, you have to fight for it, use grenades to blow it to your side! If it stays in the center, it will get caught in the fence. Use this to your advantage early on because the enemy probably won't care until they are out of pieces.

Interesting gameplay idea...

You get a limited number of blocks, and the chance of only one more each build round? Hmm...

I wish there was some better way to get the block besides blowing it up with grenades, though...maybe pick stuff up like in HL2SP before you get the gravity gun, but then make the player run a lot slower?

I wanted to make it be able to be picked up by +use, but I don't know how to do that...should I make the credits cans? Would that even work? :?:
Edit: You start off with...16...32...48, 48 blocks.
I think I should reduce that to 32, huh?

For 1.4, each team will get 2-3 credits on a flag caputre. (The one that scores of course)
Knifa, would you like me to make this map for 1.4 to be included in the release? It will show what you can do with the OnScore command. :lol:

Edit: I have just tested this map for about 3 rounds and we were scavenging for the center block, so it does work.
The only bad part is that people don't know how to spawn building blocks.
Anyone know how to make VTF textures and such? I need signs and stuff. Also, a new texture for the credits would be cool.

There are many blocks.
What happens if a noob grabs a building block in sf_testmap? Same thing, its all cool.
The block spawns in fight round, so you can't hold it.
I'd wish knifa would incorporate use holding, but I don't know how difficult that would be.
