Default Sf_facingtowers2005final

map by: Beastbeans

name: sf_facingtowers2005final

overveiw: The Main idea of this was to make a level that would somewhat be like facingworlds (unreal) but with the idea of sourceforts ( you build your own bases ) , this map has taken me a while and is my first sourceforts map , the download (zip) contains the readme 2 screenshots and the .bsp

pictures at:

http://halflife2.filefront.com/screenshots/File/39582/1

http://halflife2.filefront.com/screenshots/File/39582/2

download :

:P

In Build mode there is --- A Pain Of Glass To stop anyone from unfreezing your base while you are building it

,,And there is a platform around your base witch can be used to move materials around during build mode both of witch are NOT there during fight mode , cheers

Default Not sure about this

The blue and red floors that disapear after the build round, is it supposed to only be the first build round? After the first build round they are gone for good.

The divider is just plain gone after the first fight round which lets people just walk through during the 2nd+ build rounds. They take some damage but they still get through.

The pit of death, does it have to be so low? makes it hard to get blocks out when stupid people join the game.

Other than those few things I believe this is one of my favorite maps =D good work.

Yeah the center wall really doesnt come back after first fight round, and I would also like to see the spawn holes rigged with trigger_hurts for the other team so you could not spawnrape.

This seems like it was more modeled after that UT2k3 map that enabled low-gravity by default. Face from UT looked like this:

Crappy pic but it was the best I could find.

Please don't add music to multi-player maps, most of us are already trying to listen to our own.
