Name : Sf_labforts

overview: The basic behind sf_labforts is an non public laboratory where experments used to happen somewhere in city17 before the combine (UU) took over completely. The map itself is fairly big it has 2 main (build rooms) one that is top level and one is downstairs , There are 3 roots to each base , 1.Though the middle(though main room), 2. up the top way (over main room) and 3. a crack in the wall in the under build room (witch leads to a underground)

This map has taken me a long time making/testing and optimizing so any feedback would be appreciated.

The Map is finnished ,,, ive made some last minute changes ,, im trying to upload the map to a website so every 1 can download but having some proplems , ive tryed my normal www.halflife2files.com but it wont see to go though plz help .. :roll:

A few concerns. As per every SF map that works on a room to room basis, your doorways are going to be INSANE choke points. All it would take it 1-2 blocks out of your stash and you could block any doorway, leaving teams far too much resourses and time to focus on things like annoying flag crawls or other things.

As a rule of thumb it should take a good player a minimum of 7-10 minutes to wall in compleatly a base (spawn, flag, shooting area, and ammo crates) and that's just for a slapdash wall.

Also, is that a health recharger in the block storage? The block storage really needs to be blocked off during combat rounds to keep them from being stolen. I'd recommend a spawner.

i can see where your are comming from but when u get the chance to play the map you will see that i have glassed off near the doors for build time ( block from building around doors) and the materials are at the back of the base so i dont think any1 will beable to nick anythin,, i move the medi because it was in front of spawn door and people (the other team) can just keep healin themselfs waiting for you to open the door with a shotgun pointed at you ,, i sould know i did it to thers (soz) ..lol

i wanted to make a sourceforts map with something in the middle ( 2 main basic build rooms , with nice way though to over base because most if not all sourceforts maps are outside ( witch is good ) just wanted to give it some variety.

umm just give the map a play then have a chat plz

very nice architecture and good lighting! Nice variety of textures too. Kinda weird for SourceForts, perhaps you should consider converting it to a CS map.
