1.9.4, the next (and again, hopefully final) version of the 1.9.x series is coming along very well, and even though we're pressed to fix as many bugs as possible, we're not shying out of trying a few new innovations!

We're trialing outfitting the scout class with a smoke grenade to help safe passage across nomans land and escaping flag defences a little more interesting - It's had some interesting gameplay results thus far just in our three/four-a-side beta matches, and should really shine in larger pubs!

In theory, each smoke grenades GPU usage is roughly equal to 10 bullet hole decals. Nobody in beta has had any noticable FPS drop caused by smoke grenades at the moment.

Khuskan launched about 30 smoke grenades, the smoke was super thick, and I didn't notice any decrease in FPS. At all.

Whats with the new team colored smoke fetish? And...this smoke does it screw up the view of your team as well? As in a red team scout drops ones of these bad boys and ends up jumping off the ledge of skywalk due to not being able to see cuz of his own smoke nade? Not gonna call myself a vet of this game but I know my way around to NOT do that, but I can just see new people getting lost on maps...LOL.
