On the XForts server, there is some wierd shit going on. I'll probably get flamed for this for one reason or another, but look at this:

1. Our admin stopped working almost a week ago, and hasn't worked since. Without the ability to control the server, it is plunged into utter chaos and anarchy.

2. Welder, our leader, hasn't answered my messages for many days on AIM. I just sent him a private message here.

3. Our website, www.hl2insider.net/xf, is down. All of hl2insider, not just our website.

4. There were people on the pub server impersonating me and him. Then, KGtheway and Monty Python joined, who i figured out were the real ones. Mafia, a friend of mine from my Call of Duty clan, also joined. Then more impostors showed up... it was insane. The fakes kept spamming/griefing too.

5. Monty Python thinks the impostors might be from rev clan, which I think is the jackass one that does exploits/bunnyhopping. We got their steam ID's. They also claimed to work for valve as bug testers, which I highly doubt.

Pretty messed up, huh?

Damn, dude. I was wondering what was going on there for a while... I'm going to make a list of your STEAM IDs so I can inform people when this BS happens, and possibly find out who's doing this kind of thing...

Does anyone know of a web interface or anything that lets you resolve a STEAM ID to a recent name?

EDIT: If you don't know, Welder told me he moved the server to xforts.tk . That resolves to http://72.36.212.6/ if you don't want the ads/banner at the top or the frame.

Excellent news - glad the xforts server is back up! You guys are a pillar of this mod's community and I wouldn't want to see the server come down. Hang tight guys, for what it's worth we're working hard to cut out exploit movement and other bugs for the future versions.

So go there to avoid the banner... My server company moved boxes.. and he said my hl2insider.net would resolve in 72 hours.. its now been 6 days....



So, youll have to live with xforts.tk now... or just add that IP to your Favorites.


If anyone want to chip in money, i will get a domain registered for xforts.

Registering a domain doesn't cost that much at all...

You can pick 'em up for like - $20 or $30 for a year or two...

I suggest looking around a couple of different registrars to find the best price for you.

Allready got one registered! for only 18.30 for 2 years, for a .com!!!


BTW, its http://xforts.com Won t work for a day or two though.





godaddy.com is by far the cheapest i can find.
