Default Dedicated Server Crashing

Call me crazy, but I think the game is still fucked up. My server has crashed three times today, all after about the same amount of time played and all with the exact same error of referencing memory at blah blah 40. It's the same error that happened in 1.4.1, too. So, has anyone else experienced this or know what the problem is?

The error that happened in 1.4.1 prevented the game from even loaded.

If you post full details ('blah' isn't particularly useful ), I can do something about it.

I'm running with developer mod on right now to see if that provides anything useful. If it crashes again, I'll do what Thomas suggested, and I'll also take a note of the exact error.

My 1.4.2 server has crashed 3 times today too. 2 memory errors and one "player: backwards mins/max".
And yeah I have to install a fresh one anyway cause there's so much stuff left from old versions and trying to get manimod work.

Here's the error:

Quote:
The instruction at 0x00000040 referenced memory at 0x00000040. The memory could not be "read".
I'm not sure if the number of 0s before the 4 is correct, but you get the idea. That makes four crashes yesterday, all with the same memory error that I received with the 1.4.1 crashing problem.

I am fairly confident I know what is causing this, and will have it repaired for v2.

I just a player:backwards mins/maxs crash, too. Developer mode is turned on, but isn't showing up in my logs. I'll see if I can remedy that to have something useful to post next time it crashes.

Default yep...

yea, the servers I host crash every so often. I have to manually starte srcds. Then type in map sf_fortfield or whatever. It gets annoying. Always crashes from memory errors
