Default Hlds with SourceForts

I run servers on a separate machine that is slightly limited on HDD space, so I use HLDSupdate tool for most all server activity.

How can I setup SourceForts with this same capability so that I can simply
launch it from the srcds.exe menu? As though it were provided through valve. My actual server machine doesnt have Steam no it. Thanks.

what appears to work... is if I throw the SourceForts folder into my C:\valve\hl2server\dods folder.. where srcsds.exe is located.. then i create a shortcut saying.. "scrds.exe" -game SourceForts. However, models and textures are f***ed up hardcore.

Keeping in mind I dont have HL2MP installed for Dedicated.. and since the game relies on the HL2MP files.. I suppose that would account for the messed up models/textures. I'll try that right quick.

You need HL2MP installed, and it should probably be in the hl2server folder.

There was a tutorial of how to do this somewhere:
Just copy the whole SF folder and paste it into the source dedicated server folder.
Then go into the SF folder, go to GameInfo.txt and make the top part look like this:
"GameInfo"
{
game "SourceForts DS"
title "SourceForts DS"
title2 ""

and leave the rest as it is...
Then start up the Srcds.exe and it should be on the list of games "Sourceforts DS". Start the server, then you will have to type map sf_<mapname> into the console to officially start it up.
(NOTE: To connect to your own Ded. Server you must add it as a favorite by putting in its IP address and connect from the favorites menu, never from the main server browser)
