I installed sourceforts and i am hosting a server, i add it to my favorites by ip, nothing, then i load up srcds for css and refresh my favs and it comes up, does anybody know what my problem might be? :?:

Check that sv_lan is set to 0.

Tnx but that did not fix the problem, i had already done that, and dont call me a noob because i have been playing cs longer than you, i think a restart is what made it work, thanks a bunch for flaming.

Never mind i thought it worked because i had a cssource server up and then switched to forts and forgot to refresh, it doesnt work still tried sv_lan 0 again

Ok, im terribly sorry for all of the stupidity on my part from the very beginning, but i was forgetting to type map <mapname> to start the server, all is well

i'm running a listen server and mine won't show up. I'm also running norton antivirus and turned it off as well as tiurned nortons firewall off. I even went into the firewall settings and added the ports yall listed, but it will not show up in the server list. The weird thing is that it was on there 2 days ago though.... any suggestions?

There are a lot of servers around - the list takes ages to refresh. Are you adding it to your favourites?
