I am making this new map and i want something to be around the flag until the fight begins, then it shall be removed
How do i make it?

vphysics clips.

a func_door if you are bored.

func_wall_Toggle.

surround the ball with vphysics clip brush. it will prevent the ball from moving. i have not bothered to do this yet.

or you can cover the ball with a func_door that opens during fight and closes during build.

or you can surround the ball with func_wall_toggle. and have it start... off or on i cant remember, and have it toggle when the round changes.

EDIT: moved this to the mapping section where it belongs

how do you get vphysics clip, ive looked for it and cant find it

Ok, make brushes around it using the tools/toolsclip texture, then make the brushes into an entity (CTRL+T) and select func_clip_vphys. Done.

When i try the map the door is not there... its just gone
Here is the inputs for the door


what do i do wrong?

if you run the map. make sure you go to fight time.

if its build and the door is not there, it might be "closed" and out of view.

if thats the case. just flip those inputs so its "open" during build and "Closed" during fight.
