Default Freezing Object, via triggers

Is there a way to freeze objects (ie physbox or prop_phys) in the same way that sourceforts does (via freeze gun).

I know you can disable motion but it isn't quite the same (ie grenades go through the object as physics isn't calculated for it anymore and other objects)

So I was just wondering is there a method that freezes objects like the gun. And also if that exists or even if it doesn't is there a way to trigger outputs when an object is frozen with the freeze gun?

Sorry if this been posted, already check but i might have missed it

P.S murkrow u really do have too much time on your hands

If you mean from within a map, build a box around the prop almost the exact same size (just 1 unit between the edge of the prop and the wall) and make all the walls nodraw.

You can also tie the box to things such as func_rotating to make the box appear to be rotating. This is a pretty kool effect especially for entmakers.
