How do you set up the SDK with microsofts free express compiler?

Which compiler is this?

If you already know C++, and are coding on Windows. I'm surprised you don't already own Visual C++. I regard it as absolutely essential for Windows programming, and I'd recommend it for Half-Life 2.

and I believe that visual C++ is the only one that will compile for HL². Or so I'm told. I currently use Bloodshed (very nice program) or context (an ok one) but neither of them will compile for HL².

I use Dev-C++ currently because I cannot afford Visual C++.

But I am talking about this compiler: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/expres...c/default.aspx
