Default Trouble with a map

So I made a map and now it can't run... For some reason when I try and load it when I host a server, it hangs on loading resources for a moment, then just exits HL2 entirely.

The map used to work properly, then I added the recessed rooms for the materials for the blue team. And stupid me, I didn't make a backup of the map. I tried setting it back the way it was, but no luck.

Here's the map for any speculation anyone wants to make.

Thanks everyone,
BAM

when you host a server? does it work when you compile it? have you done a full compile? copmpile it without running the game, then in the text box read through, and if it has anything looking wiered, post it here for us to examine.

Are your flags set to Freeze on Build or Move on Fight, by any chance?

I answered this before on the old forums, but anyway... the problem is with your skybox, don't ask me why or how, I don't know. If you delete that, you will be fine. Also you have light entities out side your map, causing light leaks, which will always bork your map, delete them as well.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was unaware that those lights were still there outside the map :P thanks for that heads up. And I'll try fixing the skybox now. Thanks for that tip... I wonder what happened to it.

And as far as the map lighting and size... The size is as intended, and the lighting is much better now The small size makes the game much faster and more furious. Especially with short build and fight times.

Thanks again for the responses everyone.

Weird stuff. So I found the problem, and it was exactly as Knifa had suggested. As soon as I set the flags to not be static during build, the map ran fine. Very odd. Anyway, now my map is final, since it was just a test map. Pretty happy with the way it turned out actually.
