Default Using an ammo crate with pistol ammo

Alright this is a rather odd error. I am using two item_ammo_crate's in my map. One of them is set to use smg1 ammo, and the other, sitting next to it but not coliding with it, is set to use pistol ammo. everything is joyous. I compile and run. THe item_ammo_crate set to smg1 ammo comes up just fine and is in working condition. However, the adjacent item_ammo_crate set to pistol ammo renders as the usual null "ERROR" model (with no collisions) and obviously isn't in working condition.

If anyone has seen this error, and/or knows how to fix it, help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no ammo crate for pistol ammo, your best bet would be to put some item_pistol_ammo (Or what ever it is) boxes near it, thats what everyone else does

Alright kool, I had figured there was no model for the box but thought maybe there was a workaround ... and .. I guess this is a workaround!

I took it 1 step further and built my own crate almost identical to the modeled one out of brushes!

Hi ,
I Was Having The Same Problems With The Box Thing And I Was Wondering If You Could Help Me ??

Could You Tell Me How To Have A New Box Like Yours And Make The Map Use It So When Someone Joins The Map They Have To Download The New Box So It Dont Say ERROR ??

P.S Could I Have A Copy Of Your Box For My Map Plz

He just used a prop with ammo pistol, it can't close.

Well first of all, Please Learn How To Correctly Use Capital Letters.

Second of all, I made my box entirely out of brushes, and took the texture that they used on the actual prop (you can find all of the model's textures in your material browser) and aligned each face with the correct part of the texture. Then I put item_pitol_ammo's inside my crafty little box. Unless you are a detail mapper like me, it's really more trouble than it's worth.
