how do i use the red and blue textures from sourceforts?

Well... quite simply you can apply them to a face on a BSP brush. Or you could use a decal texture to place say... a blue stripe kind of thing onto a surface.

I am wondering how i import the red and blue textures from sourceforts into my map.

Just enter filter word "sf" in texture browser and you get all the sourceforts textures.

try CFGscape, or texturED, not sure.

Try copying the sourceforts/materials/sf folder to your half-life 2 deathmatch/materials folder.
Then use SF in KEYWORD.
