I'm DarkLightA. I used to play SourceForts from 1.9.1 a long time ago. When I noticed 1.9.2 was out, I decided to start playing it again, so I downloaded it. I was hooked back into it and refreshed my skills.

I'd say my combat/fighting skills are around average. My best skill is fort-building, although I can also do some flag defense. I've taken some screenshots of a basic fort I built.

It's a flexible, clean, and functional fort. The wall is rather imposing from the outside, and the entrance is hidden and runs along the whole wall. A hidden entrance gives the benefit of no cover fire for the enemy, and cover from enemy fire for friendlies. Standing on the entrance also gives a good fire-point. There is one head-guard in the middle of the wall. It is put a short distance beyond the wall to give maximum visibility but still provide the same protection. This fort is also good for add-ons, like the bunker on top of the wall that can also be used as a small sniper-tower.

Too bad the crawl provides cover for people using and you can jump in from the sides. G/l with finding a clan.

It's the "coffin-crawl" tunnel. The head sticks out so it can be easily shot or hit with a crowbar or stunstick. The side panels are out enough so it is impossible to jump in from the sides.

You can jump into the base on the rails from both sides. There is a total of 4 ways to jump into that base.

Mind at least explaining *how* its possible to jump in through the rails? I just tested it out more, and It wasn't possible to jump past by sprinting on the flares. The panels on the sides are in front of the wall, so it's not possible to jump on to the wall directly.

And Slam and RJ? I don't know about those methods. Mind explaining?

faf is full afaik, and i doubt we're going to take anyone who we dont know in anyway, possible tho ;o also, we're elitist whores.

jump around like you would fall down and die, can curve in and make it. can't say 100% for sure based on screenshots, but it looks that way. most likely can jump straight over the wall from rails into the base as well, just a bit hard.

rj = rocket jump, you fire a rocket at your feet and flyyyyyyy.

slam, slam jump, whatever= placing a slam as a tripmine, then jumping onto it then over the wall.
