A whole bunch of us have been talking about this for a while and league is getting closer and closer to being ready so it's time to start getting this organized.

What we want to do here is get all the big players for the first season together on IRC at the same time so we can discuss some league standard rules. The big issues will be what we want round times to be, what kindof server settings do we want as a group and what the opinions are on building rules. I'm hoping to follow something similar to the CAL ruleset, but there is alot of things I don't think one person should be deciding alone.

Anyways, what I want to discuss in this thread mostly is what time is best for the big meeting so we can get all this stuff out of the way and ruleset drafts can be worked up. IMO the sooner we do this the better, but if we decide to put it off for a while that's ok too. League can't start until we have rules.

Ok, I vote next weekend sunday, June 4th, 12:00PM PST or 8:00PM GMT.

Is this ok for everyone? Mostly I need steif there and as many clan leaders as possible, I'm not exactly sure who all the clan leaders are so feel free to post here and tell us :P

Everyone is welcome though, and clans feel free to send representives if your leadership can't attend directly. Of course we can change the time as well, but you need to suggest something.

I'd like to get league off to a good start. My qualifications are similar to urinal cakes and look what he did with DGL. At very least I'm trying to get things moving even if I don't end up doing any administrative work for league.

If stieffers will go for it I'm willing to head up league and make sure all the stuff that needs to be done in order for it work is happening, including anticheat and dispute handling.
