Default Typical settings?

We're starting a newish sf clan (gauge12), and I'm just wondering - what server settings are the norm?
Build time?
Combat time?
Block limit?

Blocklimit, anything between 30 and 70 is fine, under and there arnt enough to go around, over and you're in risk of creating stalemates.

The longest I would recommend setting long build to is 15 minutes (720 seconds), and set short to either 5 (120) or 10 (600) minutes. Remember secondary build times are there for patching up your existing fort, not building a new one.

As for rounds, I suggest having 2 build times only. Longer than that, and some maps get boring or you simply loose all the pieces (COUGH ROOFTOPS), and it also gives best variety of maps.

Make sure you put as many custom maps in rotation as you can, people love them

Good luck!

haven't been released yet.

i'd say 15 min is too lengthy for a long build. make sure you have a map change after 2 combat phases because after that its just boring.
